A tiny project for an evening: a pair of spotty tights. I thought Hipstapunz’s outfit was missing a little something, and that something was blue spotty fishnet tights.
I made them out of an old pair of my own tights. To make sure they don’t wreck her nice new bod, she’s back on the old stained one until I have proof that they aren’t going to ruin everything.
(A slightly sad story: my colleagues and I went out for lunch the other day near our office, and we happened to walk past Fruit Towers, the Innocent headquarters (smoothie people). Given how much I loved Hipstapunz’s green beret, we went in to see if they had any more hats.
We went inside, and it was super-swanky – incredibly hip, certainly. I asked if they had any more hats, and a guy said no – it was a two week only charity event, and I’d have to wait for next year. However, through a big open doorway was clearly visible a huuuuge perspex box, about 120cm tall, chock full of tiny little hats! I started walking towards it, then I got told off for going into a private, employees-only zone. All those damned hats, and I had to look, not touch. I’d have happily given them a fiver for a few… oh well!)
